Appointments
Currently our GPs/Advanced Nurse Practitioner are doing telephone triage and will at that point decide if they need to see the patient face-to-face.
Our practice nurses are offering face-to-face appointments and telephone triage. These appointments are staggered to ensure the safety of our patients inline with Government guidelines on social distancing.
Please ensure you are available to take the call on the day of the telephone triage on your nominated contact number.
Minor Ailments
Local Pharmacists can treat and issue medicines. This might be quicker and easier than booking an appointment with the doctor.
There is no need to see a doctor for:-
a cold, earache, sore throat, diarrhoea & sickness, verrucae, head lice or nappy rash.
Many items from the pharmacist or even from supermarkets can relieve above symptoms effectively. An appointment with the doctor should only be required when home remedies are not controlling the problem.
